Claim to Life and Destiny

It is a message. In a world where humans control nothing; it, sure, is a message that somehow we will claim our share in this life.

Humans, bereft of control over their destinies and life events , have nothing but a tenuous chance to pursue happiness. Ephemeral in nature, our desires often turn out to be the farthest realities one could fancy. In such scenarios, we find recourse no where. It seems that there is no abode to seek refuge.

And do You know how it feels when one has no where to go?

7.2 billion people, zillion houses, in numerous cafes, bars and hotels, millions of taxi stands, uncountable bridges and, yet, not a single door to bang! To seek help!

Unfathomable sufferings endured under those bridges, while travelling via taxis, in hotels and bars, in houses among those billions of people, connect us all. But still we have no one to turn to!

Have You ever let it disturb Your stream of thought or pattern of consciousness; how does it feel when one has no where to go?

I reckon it never happened. Why would it? You have this earth and sky, sun and moon, 7.2 billion people, and everything they claim to be theirs, at your disposal. Waiting, cajoling and lingering for Your decree, kindness or fate.

But some of us are now ready to defy the odds.

This lady who once paid her electricity bill by letting her master violate her body and spirit, is not willing to endure it again.

You have made Your choice. Her fate is evident. There is another extravagant electricity bill lying in her courtyard.

However, just like You, she has made her choice too. No matter how hard Your fate tries and how strict the order of divinity is, she has decided for herself this time.

In the face of Your plan,
she committed suicide.

And there is this bulb, which she lighted after Crucifixion of her soul, to send You the message that somehow we would claim our share in our own lives, let alone at the cost of death!

I self-center you more than ever

“Missing someone, they say, is self-centered. I self-center you more than ever.” ― Saša Stanišić

Is there a remedy to attain immunity from missing someone? Do they even prescribe something of the sort? Find me that goddamn chemist, would you? Because I’d gladly take notes, start that darn drug right away.

Listening to every single advice and open to all words of wisdom of how to rid of someone you can’t stop thinking about and walk away from someone you just can’t stop loving.

I have got an idea. Why not let’s just tear each other apart, limb by limb? Haven’t we been doing this already? Then, how about stitching our scars later on and gaps and breeches together and ending up making everything into something that is awful to ever fix or mend or bring back to original?

And I would never be upset about it ever again. Aren’t we already done with getting excessively down and out every now and again?

How I keep telling myself that I have crossed the bridge and keep reminding myself that I have left nothing intact by burning everything behind.

The ashes however fly with the wind and blow back into where they belong. Right back to their home, and I always anticipate you showing up, in vain.

It’s so quiet without you around. And I hate you. Yes I hate you. For, I have decided to befriend the calm and composure of even the noisy environs. And I have opted to embrace the chaos and mayhem within.

I choose not to symbolize the definition of false hope. Hope, the whole world seems confused about whether to categorize it as life or the ultimate treacherous illusion. Ironic, right?

And I still keep pretending that everything will be alright. I will be alright. I don’t care. I hate you. And I don’t care, my love!

– Regretfully yours.

An eternally exquisite fall

Dry leaves and a woman

Nature’s Grand Finale

Dry leaves.

Yes over there. Lying invariably scattered around the ground and yonder over the green. Others waiting for their turn. Eager to fall.

Why did they fall?

They must have fallen for you. Let’s not blame autumn when the spring is just around.

Let’s assume, they’ve fallen on ground in your awe. They have fallen in love with you. The fall is eternal. Somewhere they eventually belonged.

Winds may scatter them, times may dissolve them into dust rusting them away, destiny may trample them, and fate may crush them under her cold feet. And you may lose their sight.

However, the fact remains that they shall never return to their original state; that of the pre-fall. They never can. They never will. They shall never return to their roots.

The fall is an eternity that is supposed to last a little longer than any other eternity. An infinity that is simply bigger than any other infinity. An affinity unparalleled.

They must have fallen having been tranced and hypnotized by your ecstatically full-of-stories eyes, spirits-ascending smile and exuberant company. They must have saved this far, long anticipating your arrival as if it were nature’s grand finale. Fair enough.

For, you had been bursting with peculiar beauty and grace; invisible that of intellect, thought, mind, heart and soul, and physically visible one too.

It must be your exquisitely uniform, eternally calm, surprisingly soothing smile that they may have fallen for. Or those inquisitively appealing spellbinding smoky eyes that seem to draw majestic shadows on your glowing full-moon-shaped face making it look more elegantly pretty.

Let me steal Kasie’s word and confess, “your eyes are so intense I [anybody would] want to look away… or never look away, I can’t decide.”
